​Swamp Radio is locally owned by Al and Linda Quarnstrom of Red Wing, Minnesota, through Q-Media Properties. The Quarnstroms have spent decades building and running small-town radio stations across Minnesota and Wisconsin, and in 2025 they were inducted into the Minnesota Broadcasters Hall of Fame.

Their Story in Pine City goes back to 2001, when they first purchased WCMP. After a period under different ownership, they brought the stations back home in 2016, and in 2020 they added KBEK to the family - Now all together as Swamp Radio.

Al & Linda's belief is simple: radio should belong to the community it serves. Local news, local sports, local businesses, and neighbors helping neighbors — that's what you'll hear here, today and for years to come.
