Hinckley I-35 project will resume on May 5

According to MNDOT, road work will resume on I-35 in Hinckley starting May 5.

Traffic will be single lane in both directions during daytime work hours until May 12.

Starting then, traffic will be diverted to the northbound side in a head-to-head format until the fall.

The work in 2025 will focus on replacing the Grindstone River and southbound rail bridges, along with resurfacing I-35 and the Highway 48 on- and off-ramps.

Motorists can expect delays during busy travel times.
