East Central Drug and Violent Offenders Task Force locates stolen firearms in Chisago County

The East Central Drug and Violent Offenders Task Force executed two residential search warrants in Chisago County on Friday in an effort to locate stolen firearms.

According to a news release, multiple individuals were detained at the scene, and officers recovered two pistols confirmed to be stolen as a result of the operation.

The release states that the investigation will be sent to the Chisago County Attorney's Office for charging purposes.

The Chisago County Sheriff's Office, SWAT, K-9 Unit, and drone team, as well as the Pine County Sheriff's Office SWAT team, assisted in executing the warrants.
